Deck overview

This Naya deck is an aggressive Equipment Voltron and historic synergy build commanded by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. The primary strategy focuses on deploying cheap Equipment and ramp during early turns, then casting Cloud on Turn 4. Cloud's enters-the-battlefield ability bypasses heavy equip costs by immediately attaching an Equipment, while its innate haste enables an instant attack. Attacking triggers card draw and generates two Treasure tokens whenever Cloud reaches seven or more power, fueling rapid mana velocity and card advantage. The deck expands its combat clock using high-power payoffs like Tifa, Martial Artist for extra combats and heavy hitters like Kaldra Compleat and Blackblade Reforged to eliminate opponents through lethal commander damage. A dense package of protective Equipment, hexproof boots, and instant-speed phase-out effects like Clever Concealment shields the commander from interaction. Backup threats including Armory Automaton and Bronze Guardian ensure the deck maintains continuous combat pressure even if the commander is removed.
