Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya lifegain and +1/+1 counters strategy commanded by Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn. It integrates an aggressive creature curve and Unicorn tribal subtheme with high-impact combo finishes. The deck uses low-cost lifegain enablers like Soul Warden and Essence Warden to fuel Lathiel, growing its board with counters each end step. When ready to close the game, it uses tutors such as Enlightened Tutor, Eladamri's Call, and Ranger-Captain of Eos to assemble Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista for an instant table kill. Backup lines like Archangel of Thune with Spike Feeder, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Akroma's Will ensure the deck can win through combat or direct damage. A robust suite of protection spells defends key turns against board wipes and spot removal.
