The Fantastic Four by midcriyq

Format: Commander

Commander: Mister Fantastic

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mister Fantastic pilots a four-color, noncreature-spell trigger engine. Each turn the deck wants to cast at least one noncreature spell to unlock a suite of beginning-of-combat abilities: drawing with Mister Fantastic, creating Treasures with Alicia Masters, tokens with Namor and Council of Reeds, and buffing Human Torch and The Thing. Mister Fantastic's tap ability doubles the most important trigger, usually Whirlwind of Thought's draw or Human Torch's damage spread. The hidden commander is Mister Fantastic, Reed Richards, whose token draw turns The Fantasticar and Council copies into gas. Secondary plans are big-mana payoffs like Cosmic Crucible, Genesis Ultimatum, and Galactus. There are no counterspells and no compact combo; the deck grinds into a wide or pumped combat kill.
