Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger strategy led by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both an escalating burn engine and a potent burst mana generator, gaining +1/+1 counters and pinging opponents whenever noncreature spells are cast before converting that power directly into {U} and {R} mana. Supported by low-cost cantrips, mana rocks, and cost-reducers like Goblin Electromancer, the deck sets up on turns 1 through 3 and assembles its core engine on turn 4. On turn 5, it launches a critical storm turn, using cards like Storm-Kiln Artist, Mana Geyser, Veyran, Voice of Duality, and Will of the Jeskai to chain dozens of spells, dealing lethal noncombat damage across the table or overwhelming opponents with evasive tokens from Manaform Hellkite and Third Path Iconoclast. The deck features robust stack interaction and protection to defend its game-winning turns.
