Shizo Nursery by cledet

Format: Commander

Commander: Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shirei is a mono-black sacrifice engine that keeps the board full of 1-power permanents, turning every death into recursion, card draw, and life loss. The primary drain package of Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and The Meathook Massacre wins through attrition, while token generators like Sling-Gang Lieutenant and Weaponcraft Enthusiast feed the engine. Syr Konrad and Bolas's Citadel offer secondary and burst finishing lines. Shirei is the core; there is no hidden commander, though Bolas's Citadel acts as a game-ending haymaker once the engine is set up.
