Grenzo, Dungeon Warden (B4) by sebshaq

Format: Commander

Commander: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a tightly-focused Rakdos combo engine built around Grenzo, Dungeon Warden's ability to put creatures from the bottom of your library directly onto the battlefield. The primary game plan uses scry, bottom-deck manipulation, and top-deck tutors to line up infinite sacrifice loops - typically Ashnod's Altar or Phyrexian Altar with a persist creature (Murderous Redcap or Putrid Goblin) and a drain payoff (Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat). The deck also runs Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker lines via Goblin Recruiter and Doomsday as an alternative setup. Dense fast mana (Dark Ritual, Sol Ring, Chrome Mox) and a low mana curve let it accelerate well ahead of the table, while Heartstone reduces Grenzo's activation cost to a single mana, dramatically speeding up the assembly. ---
