Endless Punishment Buff by user1911564

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos group-slug deck helmed by Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls, built to bleed the entire table through a dense web of life-loss punishers. The commander turns every opponent's first life loss each turn into a card and a +1/+1 counter, making Valgavoth the engine that keeps the slug flowing. The 99 is packed with draw punishers (Fate Unraveler, Kederekt Parasite, Razorkin Needlehead, Spiteful Visions), cast punishers (Rug of Smothering, Kaervek the Merciless, The Lord of Pain), and landfall/upkeep drains (Zo-Zu the Punisher, Nightshade Harvester, Mogis, God of Slaughter). Finishers include Archfiend of Despair (doubling a turn's life loss), Fiery Emancipation and Uncivil Unrest (damage multipliers), and Exquisite Blood for life gain. The deck wins by attrition - no infinite combos, just relentless table-wide damage that outpaces three opponents' life totals.
