Witherbloom, the Balancer by user2611173

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Witherbloom, the Balancer leads a Golgari X-matters engine that builds a creature/token board to discount both itself and every instant/sorcery it casts. The primary plan is to flood the battlefield with Pests, Worms, Wolves, and Spawn, then convert that mass into mana and card advantage through X-cost spells amplified by Unbound Flourishing, Elementalist's Palette, and Brass Infiniscope. Finishing lines include a copied Exsanguinate, Pest Infestation into Triumph of the Hordes, and the Dina/Jumbo Cactuar life-gain route through Professor Dellian Fel's emblem. A deep recursion shell using Cauldron of Essence, Moseo, and Rise of the Dark Realms keeps the deck grinding when the board is cleared. No hidden commander; Witherbloom is the build-around.
