Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Faerie tribal and attrition control deck commanded by Talion, the Kindly Lord. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Talion on Turn 4, setting the chosen number to a common mana value such as 2, and generating steady card advantage while taxing opponents' life totals. A deep suite of single-target removal, bounce spells, and incapacitating Auras allows the deck to police individual threats while building a modest flying board featuring Obyra, Dreaming Duelist, Faerie Vandal, and Metropolis Sprite. Because the deck lacks fast mana, high-power tutors, and combo finishes, it wins through sustained aerial combat and incremental burn from Underworld Dreams over extended turn cycles. The deck excels at grinding out value in creature-centric environments, though it remains vulnerable to sweepers and faster combo strategies.
