Etali C500 by Steffen

Format: Commander

Commander: Etali, Primal Conqueror // Etali, Primal Sickness

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

A Gruul tempo-combo deck built around Etali, Primal Conqueror's front face: accelerate into an early 7/7 trample, then exile and cast spells for free with the ETB. The back face is a slower one-hit poison closer, not the primary plan. The fastest deterministic wins come entirely outside the commander: infinite hasty Dualcaster Mage tokens via Twinflame/Heat Shimmer/Electroduplicate, or infinite creature mana from Food Chain + Eternal Scourge. Squee, the Immortal acts as a small hidden-commander tutor target. The deck is explosive but draws extremely poorly: it lacks consistent card draw and has no tutor for its best combo piece, so it often falls back on Etali beatdown and poison.
