Deck overview

This deck uses Tannuk, Memorial Ensign as a landfall damage and card-flow engine. Fetch lands, land-sacrifice ramp, extra land plays, and graveyard access create repeated land entries while Sabotender, Tunneling Geopede, Spitfire Lagac, and Valakut Exploration widen the damage output. Large payoffs such as Omnath, Locus of Rage, Rampaging Baloths, and Cultivator Colossus convert later land growth into creatures, cards, or direct damage. The deck is strongest when it chains several land entries in one turn, but its ordinary setup is turn 5 and its first decisive threat is usually turn 8 or later. It has useful removal and some protection, yet little stack interaction and no compact deterministic win. Its main strategic issue is that value and damage are spread across many permanents, so a sweeper or commander removal can reset several turns of development.
