Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Equipment strategy commanded by Sephiroth, Fallen Hero. The primary game plan deploys efficient equipment, auto-attaching token creators like 'For Mirrodin!' and Living Weapon artifacts, and cost reducers such as Puresteel Paladin, Forge Anew, and Bruenor Battlehammer. When Sephiroth attacks, it raises all modified creatures to base 7/5 power and toughness. These base stats combine with equipment power buffs and double strike enablers like Reyav, Master Smith and War Machine, Avenging Arsenal to deliver decisive combat damage. Card velocity is maintained through combat draw triggers and cast triggers from Sram, Senior Edificer and Nahiri, Forged in Fury. The deck incorporates resilience through Sephiroth's Reunion graveyard ability and mass artifact recovery with Wake the Past. While vulnerable to mass artifact removal and multi-turn combat exposure, the deck applies reliable, scaling pressure.
