Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counters and Fractal tokens midrange deck helmed by Berta, Wise Extrapolator. Berta acts as both an engine and an accelerator, generating mana whenever she receives counters and converting excess mana into expanding Fractal tokens. The deck uses Increment creatures and proliferation effects like Flux Channeler and Inexorable Tide to compound board state value quickly. Card draw is tied to counter placement through cards such as Fathom Mage and Pensive Professor, ensuring the hand remains stocked as threats grow. Victory is achieved by converting tall Fractal tokens and wide boards into unblockable or trample-assisted lethal combat swings using enablers like Gnarlid Colony, Emil, Vastlands Roamer, and Wonder. It features solid countermagic and hexproof protection to defend key plays while applying consistent pressure.
