New Untitled Deck by Feldspar

Format: Commander

Commander: The Valeyard

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis "villainous choice" and "council's dilemma" deck helmed by The Valeyard, a commander that doubles the number of villainous choices each opponent faces and grants the deck an extra vote in every vote. The core plan is to land the Valeyard, then deploy a dense suite of choice and voting cards - Prisoner's Dilemma, Tyrant's Choice, Mob Verdict, Capital Punishment, Expropriate - to draw cards, strip boards, and deal damage. The Valeyard turns every one of these into a supercharged effect: opponents face two choices at once, and the deck votes twice. The game is closed out through incremental damage from Guttersnipe and Storm-Kiln Artist, Dalek and vehicle combat (Davros, Dalek Creator, Genesis of the Daleks, The Dalek Emperor), and the extra-turn chain of Expropriate and Plea for Power. Kess, Dissident Mage acts as a hidden commander, flashing back the best instant or sorcery each turn. This is a slow, value-driven control deck with no infinite combos.
