Deck overview

This Sultai deck is helmed by The Wise Mothman and operates as a synergistic midrange strategy combining mill attrition with explosive +1/+1 counter scaling. The early turns prioritize mana acceleration using efficient 2-CMC ramp to deploy Mothman on Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Mothman distributes rad counters to all players, forcing mill triggers during each precombat main phase. As nonland cards are milled from any library, Mothman distributes +1/+1 counters across your board, rapidly expanding your creatures into formidable threats. Multipliers like Branching Evolution and Corpsejack Menace accelerate this growth, while cards like Danny Pink and Fathom Mage convert counter placement into card advantage. The deck closes games through overwhelming evasive combat damage bolstered by Brawn and The Mindskinner, supported by mass recursion like Rise of the Dark Realms to capitalize on heavily stocked opposing graveyards.
