Commander: Lazav, Dimir Mastermind

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lazav, Dimir Mastermind leads a control shell centered on mill, discard, and graveyard theft. The deck seeks to disrupt opponents resources while filling their graveyards to transform Lazav into high-value threats. While it can win through combat damage using stolen opposing bombs and shadow attackers, its primary deterministic win condition is the Duskmantle Guildmage plus Mindcrank infinite combo. When both are active, any single card entering an opponent graveyard or any life loss initiates a loop that drains all life and mills their entire library. Secondary paths include heavy life drain via Sheoldred, the Apocalypse paired with forced draw, and alternate victory through Mechanized Production.
