Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul stompy build led by partner commanders Michelangelo, the Heart and Raphael, the Muscle. It accelerates rapidly in the opening turns using a rich suite of 1-mana dorks, fast artifacts, and land enchantments. Michelangelo provides reliable early board presence and distributes +1/+1 counters each combat, neatly setting up Raphael's passive ability that doubles all damage dealt by modified creatures. The deck scales this damage through massive trample beaters such as Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Railway Brawler, and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, or explosive combat enablers like Moraug, Fury of Akoum and Bloodthirster. Creature tutors like Natural Order and Green Sun's Zenith guarantee access to key powerhouses. While the deck lacks instant infinite combos or stax locks, its sheer combat velocity, damage amplification, and efficient protection spells allow it to overwhelm pods by Turn 5.
