Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Snow and Zombie tribal midrange build commanded by Narfi, Betrayer King. It leverages a mana base composed entirely of basic snow lands to power snow payoffs such as Dead of Winter, Frost Augur, and Marit Lage's Slumber while swarming the battlefield with resilient Zombie creatures. Narfi, Betrayer King serves as a persistent lord that boosts the team and recurs cheaply from the graveyard for three snow mana, neatly ignoring commander tax. The primary victory route relies on cumulative combat damage enhanced by lords like Death Baron and Lord of the Accursed, backed by heavy threats like Icebreaker Kraken and Clone Legion. A flavorful alternate win condition exists through Lich and Repay in Kind, equalizing life totals at zero. While the deck boasts robust mana acceleration and graveyard resilience, its reliance on combat damage over several turns and low density of instant-speed interaction leave it vulnerable to fast combos and board sweepers.
