Deck overview

This Gruul deck is led by Aerid Konstrari, a commander that produces Heartwood artifact mana tokens upon entering and dying while threatening massive power scaling based on your total artifact count. The deck accelerates in the opening turns using 1-to-2-mana artifact ramp and artifact lands, deploying Aerid by Turn 4. Once established, the strategy leverages token copy spells like Molten Duplication, Heat Shimmer, and Electroduplicate alongside mass artifact buffers such as Craterclaw Colossus and Depthshaker Titan. Critical onset arrives reliably on Turn 5, threatening massive aerial commander damage, wide trampling token attacks, or symmetric burn via Chandra's Ignition and Ingenious Artillerist. The deck finishes the table on Turn 6 through follow-up combat or big-mana finishers like Crackle with Power. Defensively, the list protects its engine with efficient tools such as Deflecting Swat and Heroic Intervention, maintaining high resilience even through board wipes.
