Deck overview

This mono-red list leverages high-cost beaters, damage doublers, and extra combat steps to overwhelm opposing life totals. Commanded by Umaro, Raging Yeti, the deck thrives when accelerating into massive 5-drop and 6-drop threats like Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, Bloodthirster, and Karlach, Fury of Avernus. It amplifies pressure through damage multipliers such as Fiery Emancipation, City on Fire, and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus. A high basic Mountain count fuels cards like Desert Were-Worm and Call the Mountain Chocobo, while mid-game ramp artifacts ensure casting capability. When uninterrupted, it can generate infinite combat steps via Neheb, the Eternal and Aggravated Assault if Neheb connects for sufficient life loss. The deck's primary limitations stem from linear combat exposure, sparse stack interaction, and reliance on top-decked threats.
