Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Temur Dragon Stompy build designed to leverage the compounding mana reduction of Animar, Soul of Elements. By accelerating early with low-CMC ramp and cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman, the deck quickly builds +1/+1 counters on Animar. Once the discount engine is online, it chains massive flying Dragons into play, turning card draw engines like Temur Ascendancy and Garruk's Uprising into velocity machines. Game-ending bombs such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Utvara Hellkite, and Atarka, World Render deploy rapidly, granting haste and overwhelming the table in airborne combat. The deck also harbors a compact infinite loop with Ancestral Statue, allowing an arbitrarily large Animar if drawn naturally. While extremely potent in creature combat and resilient against white and black spot removal, the deck's primary exposure lies in opposing board sweepers and a lack of dedicated creature tutors.
