Gods of the New World by Psyga315

Format: Commander

Commander: Atreus, Impulsive Son and Kratos, Stoic Father

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai God tribal deck built around the Father & Son partner pair. Kratos, Stoic Father generates experience counters whenever you attack with a God or a God dies, while Atreus, Impulsive Son converts those counters into card draw and pings each opponent for 2. The deck is a dense wall of legendary Gods - nearly fifty of them - that beat down with flying, double strike, and trample, while the ping subtheme is amplified by Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might and Thor, Asgard's Avenger. Primary wins: an overwhelming God army closing via combat, Atreus's amplified pings, and The Capitoline Triad's 9/9 emblem. Secondary lines include Purphoros, God of the Forge ETB damage and Toralf, God of Fury chains. This is a midrange value engine with no fast combo, relying on incremental advantage and board presence.
