New Untitled Deck by sperotto

Format: Commander

Commander: Shalai and Hallar

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

A fast Naya counters-combo deck built around Shalai and Hallar, whose commander turns any +1/+1 counter event on a creature you control into direct damage. The primary plan is to create a recursive lifegain/counter loop, usually with Heliod, Sun-Crowned giving Shalai or Walking Ballista lifelink, or with The Red Terror/All Will Be One turning small damage into an endless ping chain. Heliod is effectively a hidden second commander: it offers a commanderless win via Walking Ballista and accelerates the commander-centric lines. The deck pairs a very fast mana base with a carefully layered tutor suite and a small stax/protection package to close the game around turn 4. There is no double-faced commander, so the commander role is straightforward: Shalai is the damage-converter and combo anchor.
