Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Grixis Curse and political control deck helmed by Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor. Its strategy revolves around enchanting opponents with detrimental Curses while using goad mechanics like Kardur, Doomscourge and Disrupt Decorum to force opponents into attacking one another. Lynde serves as the central value engine, turning destroyed Curses into fresh card advantage by returning them to you and passing them back to opponents. Because the deck features dense 2-CMC artifact acceleration, it reliably establishes Lynde and its first Curses by Turn 5. Winning the game is an attrition-based process: stacked Curses like Curse of Thirst, Curse of Bloodletting, and Cruel Reality burn down opposing life totals while goaded boards finish off survivors. The deck suffers from low stack interaction and minimal protection for Lynde, making deliberate sequencing and threat deflection essential.
