Format: Commander

Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Nekusar, the Mindrazer is the deck's engine and finisher. The primary plan is to put Nekusar into play and then cast symmetric wheels (Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, Reforge the Soul) so each opponent draws seven cards and loses life from Nekusar's trigger and complementary draw-punishment permanents. Secondary lines include discard punishment through Megrim, Liliana's Caress and Waste Not, plus a one-shot Peer into the Abyss finish. The commander is critical: without him, the deck relies on a slower grind of Underworld Dreams, Sheoldred, and Psychosis Crawler. There is no true hidden commander, though Tergrid can act as a value engine if Nekusar is unavailable.
