Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity spellslinger storm deck built around Codie, Ravenous Codex and the Prepare mechanic. The deck leverages creatures that enter the battlefield prepared with spell components. Whenever you cast a prepared spell from outside your hand, Codie copies it for free. The deck achieves explosive acceleration through ritual spells like Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song, which produces ten red mana when doubled, and refill spells such as Emeritus of Ideation // Ancestral Recall. Key magecraft payoffs, including Storm-Kiln Artist and Archmage Emeritus, convert every cast and copy into an overwhelming flow of Treasure tokens and fresh cards. Once the engine reaches critical mass on Turn 5, the deck closes the game in a single turn by casting a massive copied Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate or chaining burn spells with Thousand-Year Storm to eliminate all opponents simultaneously.
