Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Rakdos spellslinger and burn strategy helmed by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The primary objective is to establish Kuja alongside Wizard-producing spells and low-cost pingers, quickly transforming him into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied. Once transformed, Kuja doubles all damage dealt by Wizards, turning every cheap noncreature spell into a lethal burst across all opponents. Rituals like Dark Ritual, Jeska's Will, and Mana Geyser fuel explosive turns where the deck chains cantrips and burn spells into a decisive same-turn table kill around Turn 5. Bolas's Citadel and Sensei's Divining Top provide a massive storm velocity engine, while the compact Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame combo provides a resilient instant-win alternative that operates completely independently of the commander.
