Deck overview

Kros, Defense Contractor is a Bant political-control deck that converts counters placed on opponents' creatures into tapped, goaded attackers, forcing the table to fight itself. The deck layers shield and +1/+1 counters, proliferate, and pillow-fort taxes to stay untouchable while Azor's Elocutors approaches its filibuster win. Hylda of the Icy Crown acts as a secondary draw/token engine, and Rikku plus Bloated Contaminator provide backup unblockable combat or poison clocks. The strategy is slow and draw-dependent, with no tutors and one deterministic finisher, so the deck relies on redundancy and instant-speed protection to reach the endgame.
