Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose is a mono-black lifegain drain deck that turns every life point gained into a life point lost by opponents. The primary plan is to establish a steady lifegain engine-lifelink Vampires, Dread Presence, Ayara, and Phyrexian Arena-then cash it in with Vito's trigger. The main finishing route is the Exquisite Blood loop with Vito or Sanguine Bond, backed by Marauding Blight-Priest, Starscape Cleric, and Epicure of Blood. Secondary paths use Exsanguinate and aggressive vampire beats. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Vito's drain trigger, with his {3}{B}{B} lifelink ability acting as a combat enabler.
