Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counters and token engine commanded by Primo, the Unbounded. The list leans into creatures with base power 0—most notably Hydras and Fractals—that enter with counters and trigger Primo's combat damage ability to generate massive secondary Fractal tokens. Acceleration comes from creature dorks, land-fetching instants, and versatile rocks like Troyan, Gutsy Explorer. Once Primo or another scalable threat is on the board, pieces like Kalonian Hydra, Tanazir Quandrix, and Deepglow Skate exponentially inflate the board's power. Without tutors or infinite combo packages, the deck wins through overwhelmingly wide and tall combat phases, utilizing trample and evasion like Rogue's Passage or Whirler Rogue. Defensive instants like Ripples of Potential safeguard against board clears, though the strategy remains fundamentally fair and combat-driven.
