Deck overview

Ragost, Deft Gastronaut is a Boros artifact-combo deck that uses Ragost's Food-making ability as a backup damage sink rather than as the primary engine. The main plans are the infinite LED loop (Auriok Salvagers + Lion's Eye Diamond + Glaring Fleshraker) and the two-card Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista kill. A dense package of cheap tutors and mana artifacts accelerates the game, while stax pieces such as Ethersworn Canonist, Trinisphere, Null Rod, and Tangle Wire buy time. Kuldotha Forgemaster serves as a hidden commander, tutoring any needed artifact directly to the battlefield. Ragost is not required for any combo; he provides alternative damage via sacrificing all artifacts as Foods.
