Deck overview

This mono-black deck is led by Ghoulcaller Gisa, focusing on high-power sacrifice fodder and Zombie tribal synergies to generate overwhelming board states. The primary game plan revolves around deploying efficient high-power creatures like Kalakscion, Hunger Tyrant or Grave Titan, resolving Gisa, and sacrificing the fodder to instantly produce a swarm of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Once the board is established, the deck transitions into a rapid combat finish using anthems such as Coat of Arms, Undead Warchief, and Death Baron, supplemented by direct life drain from Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Ayara, First of Locthwain. While the deck possesses strong creature removal and recursive engines, it is vulnerable to board wipes and artifact-based strategies due to a lack of stack interaction, artifact removal, and protection spells.
