Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir artifact midrange strategy commanded by Golbez, Crystal Collector. It builds a high permanent count using cheap artifacts, mana rocks, and token producers like Sai, Master Thopterist and Myr Battlesphere. As artifacts enter the battlefield, Golbez surveils cards into the graveyard to set up reanimation targets. At 4 artifacts, Golbez returns utility creatures to hand each turn cycle. Once the artifact count reaches 8, Golbez drains each opponent for life equal to the returned creature's power at every end step. High-power targets like Ancient Stone Idol and Metalwork Colossus provide massive life swings, while construct swarms and Kappa Cannoneer apply heavy combat pressure to close the game by turn 8.
