Midnight Ride by Pocketsand

Format: Commander

Commander: Syr Konrad, the Grim

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Syr Konrad heads a mono-black self-mill/reanimator combo deck. The primary plan is to fill graveyards with creatures, then drain the table with Konrad, Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Ayara, and enchantment loops; the secondary path is an infinite sacrifice engine using Gravecrawler or Reassembling Skeleton with an altar and any drain payoff. Mass reanimation spells like Living Death and Balthor double as finishers, while a dense tutor package finds whichever piece is missing. The commander's activated ability turns spare mana into mill that triggers his own damage and, with Mindcrank, creates a kill loop.
