True Hug by agustusgloop

Format: Commander

Commander: Kwain, Itinerant Meddler

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kwain is a group-hug draw engine that turns every draw step into fuel for a hand-size/self-mill win. Primary plan: deploy draw doublers and global draw spells, protect with pillow-fort, then win with Laboratory Maniac/Jace + Leveler or a second Approach of the Second Sun. Secondary paths: Triskaidekaphile exact-13, Twenty-Toed Toad, and Folio of Fancies milling. Kwain also supplies the final zero-cost draw trigger for Leveler kills. Bard, King of Dale acts as a hidden commander, doubling draw and token production. There is no double-faced commander. The deck is heavily redundant in card draw but thin on tutors and counterspells.
