Deck overview

This Grixis deck focuses on mass discard, wheel effects, and asymmetric resource denial. Commanded by Kefka, Court Mage, the list transforms symmetrical draw and discard spells into heavy burn, token generation, and board control. The deck accelerates through early turns using efficient two-mana artifacts, establishing key payoffs like Waste Not, Megrim, or Tergrid, God of Fright. On turns 4 and 5, resolving spells such as Windfall, Dark Deal, or Whispering Madness triggers massive life loss across all opponents while refilling your hand. Opponents attempting to fight through the discard face one-sided hand destruction through Notion Thief and Narset, Parter of Veils, alongside repeated creature clearing from Archfiend of Ifnir. The list features exceptional redundancy in both win conditions and wheel effects, enabling smooth recovery from board wipes and closing out games quickly once its engine begins turning.
