Maralen CEDH (One Trick) by MYSTICPOTATO279

Format: Commander

Commander: Maralen of the Mornsong

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a lean mono-black combo/stax deck built around Maralen of the Mornsong. The commander replaces every draw step with a 3-life tutor, which the deck exploits to assemble an Ad Nauseam + Doctor Doom kill. Usually you ramp into Maralen on turn 2-3, use its triggers to find Entomb and put Doctor Doom into the graveyard, then Ad Nauseam the remaining library into hand and cast Goryo's Vengeance to give Doom haste; activating Doom with an empty library wins instantly. Opposition Agent gives a powerful secondary lock, stealing opponents' searches while Maralen taxes their life. Doctor Doom is the hidden commander and the actual win condition.
