Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black attrition and control deck led by Braids, Arisen Nightmare. Its core strategy revolves around establishing early, continuous resource denial while leveraging Braids to generate massive card advantage. On the early turns, the deck deploys cheap discard creatures, edict effects, and recursive permanents such as Hopeless Nightmare and Bloodghast. Once Braids enters on Turn 3, sacrificing non-creature permanents forces opponents to choose between sacrificing their own scarce resources or granting you three cards and losing life every turn cycle.
