Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed competitive Izzet Storm deck commanded by Ral, Monsoon Mage. It utilizes dense zero-drop fast mana, explosive red rituals, and commander cost-reduction to assemble game-winning storm engines on turns two to three. The primary win line leverages Underworld Breach with Lion's Eye Diamond and Brain Freeze to mill the entire library, generate unlimited mana and storm count, and eliminate all three opponents simultaneously via table-wide milling or a massive Grapeshot. A secondary line utilizes Bonus Round, Past in Flames, or wheels (Wheel of Fortune, Timetwister, Windfall) to chain spells through Mind's Desire. The deck defends its critical win turns with format-staple free countermagic (Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, Pact of Negation) and Borne Upon a Wind, allowing it to threaten protected, immediate victories at instant speed.
