Format: Commander

Commander: Vishgraz, the Doomhive

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Vishgraz, the Doomhive leads an aggressive Abzan toxic and proliferate strategy that eliminates all three opponents with poison counters rather than life total reduction. The deck quickly spreads initial poison counters using early threats like Ichor Rats, Venerated Rotpriest, and Skrelv, Defector Mite. Once every opponent is poisoned, Vishgraz enters to generate toxic Mite tokens and grow into a lethal combat threat. Continuous proliferate engines such as Evolution Sage, Contaminant Grafter, and Throne of Geth rapidly tick poison counters up to ten. Alternatively, overrun effects like Triumph of the Hordes or a doubled loyalty ultimate from Vraska, Betrayal's Sting close games abruptly.
