Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul midrange strategy led by Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald that converts exile mechanics into an overwhelming board presence. By casting spells from exile through cascade, impulse draw, adventures, and foretell, the deck steadily generates 2/2 Wolf creature tokens while maintaining deep card velocity. Midgame engines like Valakut Exploration, Wild-Magic Sorcerer, and Nalfeshnee double spell output and widen the battlefield. The deck transitions into a lethal win through massive overrun effects such as Craterhoof Behemoth, Nissa, Ascended Animist, or overwhelming burn from Passionate Archaeologist and Flaming Tyrannosaurus. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to strong card draw and backup cascade beaters, it remains susceptible to well-timed board sweepers and lacks dense stack protection.
