Deck overview

This mono-black deck is a high-speed combo strategy built around explosive mana acceleration, dense tutoring, and compact infinite loops. It wins primarily by sacrificing Gravecrawler repeatedly to Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader alongside drain pieces like Zulaport Cutthroat and Bloodchief Ascension. Unconditional draw spells like Ad Nauseam and Necropotence quickly draw into missing pieces. The deck also possesses an oppressive lock in Opposition Agent paired with Maralen of the Mornsong or Mornsong Aria, preventing opponents from drawing cards or searching their libraries. It operates with format-ceiling speed, reaching a game-ending state by Turn 3.
