Deck overview

This deck is a aggressive mono-red Treasure and Dragon beatdown strategy led by Knuckles the Echidna. It aims to ramp into Knuckles on Turn 4, immediately attacking with haste, double strike, and trample to generate Treasure tokens on combat damage. On Turn 5, it accelerates into devastating payoffs such as Ancient Copper Dragon, The Reaver Cleaver, Goldspan Dragon, and Hellkite Tyrant, or burn multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Ingenious Artillerist. The deck secures its lead by deploying asymmetric nonbasic land hate including Blood Moon, Magus of the Moon, and Zhao, the Moon Slayer, which cripple multi-color mana bases while leaving its 31 basic Mountains unhindered. It closes games around Turn 7 via lethal combat, cumulative artifact burn, or alternative upkeep artifact count win conditions.
