Deck overview

This Simic deck focuses on +1/+1 counters and token amplification, piloted by Berta, Wise Extrapolator. Early turns prioritize mana acceleration using efficient green ramp and scaling mana dorks like Kami of Whispered Hopes and Gyre Sage. Once Berta enters the battlefield on Turn 3 or 4, the engine generates extra colored mana whenever counters are added while converting spare mana into rapidly growing Fractal tokens. Mid-game turns focus on expanding counter production using multipliers like Branching Evolution and Doubling Season. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 by resolving massive overrun spells such as Craterhoof Behemoth or granting global evasion through Herald of Secret Streams. While the deck excels at generating overwhelming board presence and towering creatures, it relies heavily on creature combat, contains minimal proactive disruption, and remains vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers when defensive mana is unavailable.
