First of All, Yikes. LGS Background Deck League by The_Buckmaster

Format: Commander

Commander: Livaan, Cultist of Tiamat and Sword Coast Sailor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Livaan, Cultist of Tiamat pairs with Sword Coast Sailor to create an aggressive Izzet spellslinger strategy that converts high-mana spells into lethal commander attacks. Sword Coast Sailor ensures Livaan attacks the highest-health opponent unblocked, while Livaan scales in power with every noncreature spell cast. The deck supports this aggressive Voltron plan with explosive ramp, looting effects, and spell duplication. Beyond commander combat, the list features powerful secondary win conditions including massive board-wide damage from Chandra's Ignition, devastating graveyard recursion with Mizzix's Mastery, and infinite mana or turn loops utilizing Nivix Guildmage with Turnabout or Panoptic Mirror with Temporal Mastery.
