kefka by qujp6783

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The deck is built around the front face of Kefka, Court Mage, turning his enters/attack hand-attack trigger into draw by counting discarded card types. The back face, Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, is only a late-game {8} mana sink and flying draw engine; the deck does not need it to execute its main plan. The strategy layers discard payoffs such as Megrim, Liliana's Caress, Waste Not, and Archfiend of Ifnir, then amplifies them with wheels like Windfall and Dark Deal. Norman Osborn // Green Goblin acts as a hidden commander for graveyard-casting synergies, while Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Underworld Breach provide a secondary reanimator axis. Torment of Hailfire is the primary mana-sink finisher.
