Deck overview

This deck is a five-color thematic control build celebrating the lore of Karn and classic Dominaria artifacts. Led by Karn, Gilded Guardian, the deck focuses on establishing five-color mana fixing through cards like Chromatic Lantern and Timeless Lotus before deploying massive legendary artifacts and planeswalkers. Its offensive plan revolves around high-power artifact creatures, notably Ramos, Dragon Engine and Infinite Guideline Station, backed by permanent control engines like Legacy Weapon and Karn Liberated. Stax elements such as Arcane Laboratory and Karn, the Great Creator slow down faster opponents, allowing the deck to reach its high-cost late game. While the deck boasts immense flavor and solid recovery through mass recursion spells like Triumphant Reckoning, its reliance on multi-turn combat steps and high-cost permanents leaves it vulnerable to well-timed interaction and exile sweepers.
