Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white lifegain midrange strategy commanded by Doctor Strange, Surgeon. The game plan revolves around deploying early soul warden effects and lifelink creatures to rapidly inflate life totals. Doctor Strange, Surgeon acts as a potent force multiplier by doubling all life gained and granting a static +2/+2 and vigilance buff to the entire team once your life total reaches 50 or higher. The deck leverages this life surplus into overwhelming combat attacks buffed by Archangel of Thune, Nykthos Paragon, and tall beaters like Voice of the Blessed and Serra Ascendant. In addition to combat pressure, the deck runs potent life-threshold alternate win conditions in Felidar Sovereign, Test of Endurance, and Aetherflux Reservoir. High-quality white removal keeps opposing threats in check, while steady draw engines like The Gaffer and Well of Lost Dreams sustain resource velocity.
