Deck overview

Zaffai, Thunder Conductor is a big-spell spellslinger deck that uses cost reduction, artifact ramp, and untap effects to reach an explosive turn where it casts or copies spells of mana value 5 or greater. The commander is the acceleration engine: scry smooths draws, 4/4 Elementals provide beats, and occasional 10-damage pings offer reach. The primary plan is to resolve Omniscience or Enter the Infinite, then chain every instant/sorcery in hand to trigger Firespitter Whelp and Zaffai. Secondary lines use High Tide/Turnabout mana and Time Stretch to buy extra turns, then close with big X-draws and Elemental attacks. The deck is not a fast combo deck; it needs to survive to a 10-mana turn.
