Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier leads a tight Izzet spellslinger deck built around casting loads of instants and sorceries to grow Vivi's power, generate mana via his {0} ability, and trigger a suite of pingers that drain opponents. The primary path to victory is assembling the Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal loop, which, with enough mana rocks, produces infinite spell casts and infinite damage from Vivi, Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph, Guttersnipe, or Coruscation Mage. Alternative lines include Underworld Breach + Birgi, God of Storytelling + Brain Freeze for self-mill and storm kill, or Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Curiosity/Ophidian Eye for infinite draw. The deck is dense with instant-speed interaction, cheap cantrips, and a handful of value engines, aiming to control the stack while assembling a compact combo.
